Our Story

At Legacy29, we are driven by a deeply personal story that fuels our mission to make a profound impact. It all began with a loss that shaped my life from the very beginning. My father passed away on the 29th of April, just one day before I was born. Determined not to let grief define me, I worked relentlessly to achieve my full potential, striving to be the daughter my mother and loved ones could be proud of. I believed that as long as I worked hard enough, I had control over my own legacy.

However, when I turned 18, everything changed. I felt like I lost that sense of control, and a heavy weight settled upon my chest. The emotions I had suppressed for so long flooded in, and I found myself spiralling into a year-long haze. Each day became a struggle, with moments where simply getting out of bed felt overwhelming. I withdrew from the activities and relationships that once brought me joy, feeling lost and disconnected from myself.

In that dark period, I discovered the power of clothing as a tool for healing and motivation. I would don a specific hoodie, the softest one I owned, and it became my catalyst for facing the day. By breaking down my daily challenges into manageable steps, I was able to regain a sense of purpose and take control of my life once again. That simple act of putting on my hoodie became my call to action, propelling me forward even on the toughest days.

These experiences led me to create Legacy29,  where we believe that others may try to predict your path, but only you have the power to define it. Our purpose is to build a community united by the transformative power of clothing, providing support and giving back in meaningful ways. With every purchase, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to our partner charities, allowing us to directly impact and support those in need.
